This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
As a first journal entry this will be uninteresting, I promise you.
I awoke this early this morning, and by early I mean about 3 hours before I needed to leave for work, with the intent of working on something that I have since forgotten what. Needless to say I was unable to work on this something for reasons outside of my control and thus I moved on to mindless web surfing, something I have not done in quite some time. As per typical keyboard cowboy fashion, I was looking for nothing in particular but seemed to be landing on various sites from the blatantly pornographic to the more subtle.
What? I -am- a guy.
At any rate I stumbled across some random images, one of which was a painting that linked me back here to Deviant. Well, my attention grabbed in another direction I start surfing the galleries here looking at all of the talented deviants and their amazing works. Now, I've been a member of Deviant for a while (several years) and each time I create an account I go a few months and then forget about it. Some time later I think of it again and have to create a new account, each time I do this I resolve to begin putting up my work for others to see but in some way I end up getting side-tracked and never following through. So yea, I've had several accounts.
So, Knightmare, who am I? A pseudonym I picked up years ago, back in the days of the first internet chat boards and text-based games. Over the years I have written and drawn, submitting myself to the public eye with the safety of anonymity to see me through the day. There is a certain comfort in hiding behind the computer screen where your peer equality is judged by the weight of your paragraphs and sharpness of your wit, but, I learned a long time ago that to spend too much time digitizing yourself will inevitably result in a loss of reality.
Ah, time has passed even quicker than I thought and it is time to go to work. Anyway, here I sit again making my next attempt follow through with my resolutions.
